First and foremost, we’re sorry that you need us, but we're so glad you found us. Many of our clients have been taught to push through pain rather than understanding its cause and learning how to manage it effectively without medication or surgery. They often come to us after traditional physical therapy and pain management treatments have failed, and they find themselves repeatedly out of alignment, seeking constant care from massage and chiropractors. At Healing Movement, we empower you to master your own body. We teach you to identify patterns of tightness and weakness, restore midline alignment, and build strength to maintain this new alignment. As leaders in pain recovery, we target the root cause of pain. Understanding Pain: Pain is your body's way of signaling that it needs attention. We believe that pain is a healthy response and aim to change your perception of it so you can learn to listen to your body. This way, you can develop the skills needed to manage pain effectively at home, promoting long-term wellness.
Defining Arthritis: Arthritis occurs when soft tissue shortens due to trauma or chronic incidents, causing bones to rub together. By removing irritants and allowing soft tissue to recover, joint surfaces can potentially heal and regenerate.
Addressing Neuropathy: Nerves serve to monitor and send mechanical messages to the brain, traveling through soft tissue. When there’s a mechanical issue, we experience pain. Restoring proper mechanics through realignment and strengthening helps decompress nerves, reducing pain signals. In a healthy internal environment, nerve cells can regenerate.
You don't need a doctor’s referral to benefit from our wellness services. We operate as a private pay, stand-alone clinic dedicated to your health and recovery.
Children
Our mission is to provide therapy to help children reach developmental milestones using play base therapy wellness in a fun environment with advanced practice therapists for children of all ages. We also assist with transition-age children seeking jobs in the community after high school and special ed driver's education. We provide services for special education advocacy and outside independent (IEEs) evaluations for schools.
